late 2022 when Gaze an Eagle Blind was being concepted (even before the title got settled) I was going nuts sketching studies of Felix and Jolanka on dates or transiting.
I intended to finish these at some point but I've def moved on since then, still discovering these again I'm charmed. I used a bunch of stock photos to train myself to approach environments in a more grounded way. I got what I needed out of it, I think. I don't usually share art this rough since it feels like I'm being lazy... but suppose sometimes it's nice to showcase how messy I start out

I often do freelance work for ViacomCBS for various properties (though most often Avatar/Korra) with concept style guide poses. Here's a (very small) selection of concept sketches I did from 2021-2023.
 For the past year, Alex and I have been developing Gaze An Eagle Blind, a supernatural cyberpunk comic. It stars characters that have been with us since pretty much the beginning, so it's exciting for us to see them finally come to life.
It's finally started production! Will be sharing more as things move along.

Concept Design And Studies
Full collection of artwork and visual development (2021-2022) for Song of the Bull Rider.
 Song of the Bull Rider is now available in paperback! Very happy with how the print came out, and still very proud of the art for this one. The story itself is much more beautiful though.
Please do consider checking it out! Nan Chan is a story about a useless narcoleptic zombie and a horny fish that is trying to decide on his "fuck, marry, kill" answers very seriously, and together they are the proud parents of a marvellous single brain cell.

 I had the pleasure of being commissioned to draw a piece for the indie game Kraken Academy!!, which is out today!
The developers Happy Broccoli are hosting a fanart competition to celebrate the game launch. I was asked to draw the Sports Club to help promote it. It was an absolute blast to do, love that retro anime feel.  Big black nemesis, parthenogenesis No one move a muscle as the dead come home The art direction in Control is an inspiration. Liked the game too! Rooting for a sequel.
I only read the novel for Mó Dào Zǔ Shī, so I have very different visions for what I pictured for the characters than what canon went with... so I've been making redesigns.
