Little Foolery's novel Song of the Bull Rider  is written by Alex Singer, artwork provided by me (with the honor of the cover painted by Saskia Gutekunst).

As for what it's about... Alex kind of mused on it best:

"I still don't know how to explain my upcoming novel. Historical War Fantasy? Historical romance? Gay Levantine Fantasy? Like danmei, except I didn't know about danmei when I wrote it? Pastiche on the King David cycle in an alt-universe fantasy world starring a non-binary protagonist who tops the ever living hell out of a haughty prince?

NB Political Hostage protag who has been thrust into a world of 1) royal intrigue, which they dislike 2) war, which they're good at, but dislike even more and 3) gender binary, which they find, frankly, kind of stupid."
